    Darrin graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Business and worked in the telecommunications industry as a Project Manager for 12 years, prior to joining the Katterhenry Investment Group team in 2012. His background in technology, detailed organization, and follow-through has provided significant benefits for his clients and the KIG team. Darrin holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as his life insurance licenses. Darrin’s mission is to help clients plan for a financial future in a way that best meets their individual goals. He is the cornerstone advisor for our Bellefontaine office.

    His wife, Katie, was the Bellefontaine High School Marketing Management teacher/ DECA advisor for 14.5 years. She currently works as a Freelance Marketer. Darrin and Katie are incredibly dedicated to the Logan County community. Darrin is a current board member for the YMCA of Central Ohio, Hilliker YMCA, and the International Friendship Center. In prior years, he served as the Board President for the Logan County and the Indian Lake Area Chambers of Commerce, the Board President for the Rotary Club of Bellefontaine, and Chairman of the Board for Hilliker YMCA and YMCA Camp Willson. Additionally, he was the 2020 co-chair for The United Way (UW) Annual Campaign when they raised over a million dollars for the Logan County community. Katie is presently a UW Board Member.

    Darrin believes understanding his clients is aided by his clear understanding of their environment and extended family. This is strengthened by dedicating his time and talents to the causes and organizations that are dear to them. Darrin enjoys snow skiing, boating, golfing, hiking, and hunting. Darrin and Katie live on Indian Lake with their two boys, Charlie and Andrew.
