Darrin Haubert is the cornerstone advisor for the Bellefontaine office of KIG. His mission is to teach and guide his clients as they work collaboratively to plan for their financial future in a way that meets their individual goals. Darrin’s journey to joining the KIG team is a little atypical; which is why he brings such value to the team. Darrin graduated from the University of Dayton in 1998 with a degree in Business and worked in the ever-changing telecommunications industry for 20 years before joining his brother, Eric at KIG 12 years ago. Darrin’s background in technology fuels his passion to consistently stay abreast of what is new in the financial landscape. Darrin holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as his life insurance licenses and long-term care insurance designation.
His wife, Katie is a Freelance Marketer. Darrin and Katie are intensely dedicated to their community. Volunteering their time and talents to benefit organizations focused on education, health & wellness, local businesses and financial stability in the area. Darrin is the past Board President for both the Logan County and the Indian Lake Area Chambers of Commerce and past Chairman of the Board for both Hilliker YMCA and YMCA Camp Willson in Logan County. He is also the former fundraising chair for The Logan County United Way Annual Campaign in 2020—when they raised over a million dollars for the Logan County community. He currently is a Board Member for The Rotary Club of Bellefontaine, YMCA of Central Ohio, Hilliker YMCA and the International Friendship Center in Logan County Ohio. He feels understanding his clients to the fullest is aided by his clear understanding of their community & environment which is strengthened by laboring for the causes that are dear to them. Darrin enjoys snow skiing, boating, golfing, hiking, and hunting. Darrin and Katie live on Indian Lake with their two children, Charlie (8) and Andrew (6).
